He has written up his findings, which include quite a bit of supplementary information. For instance, for Private William Allsopp there are extracts from the letters that he wrote home from the battlefield. Private William Allsopp, 1975. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Died 21 August 1915.
Born Yarm (Yorks), Enlisted Northallerton, Resided Yarm.
Buried LA CHAPELLE D'ARMENTIERES COMMUNAL CEMETERY.

Private Ernest Cordingley, 21433. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Martha Cordingley, of Orchard House, Egglescliffe Village, Co. Durham. Died 4 June 1918. Aged 22.
Born Yarm (Yorks), Enlisted Stockton-on-Tees, Resided Eaglescliffe.
Buried ST. SEVER CEMETERY EXTENSION, ROUEN.

Private David Coatsworth Doughty. 1063. 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 25 April 1915.
Born Yarm (Yorks), Enlisted Yarm, Resided Eaglescliffe Village.
Commemorated Panel 33, YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL.

Lance Corporal Thomas Johnson Elcoate, 27954. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Jane Swainson Elcoate, of Yarm, Yorks; husband of Minnie Elcoate, of 2, Hall Cottages, Wolviston, Stockton-on-Tees. Killed 14 April 1917. Aged 26.
Born Urlay Nook (Durham), Enlisted Northallerton, Resided Yarm.
Buried WARLINCOURT HALTE BRITISH CEMETERY, SAULTY.

Private John Charles Watson, 1328. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Godfrey and Elizabeth A. Watson, of 35, Cecil St., Stockton-on-Tees. Native of Yarm-on-Tees. Died 1 September 1915. Aged 21.
Born Yarm (Yorks), Enlisted Yarm.
Buried STRAND MILITARY CEMETERY.
(John Charles Watson's brother, James William Watson, is commemorated on the Yarm War Memorial but not on the Methodist Church War Memorial.)

Private Ambrose Wilson, 1329. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Francis and the late Isobel Wilson, of High St., Yarm, Yorks. Died 17 April 1916.
Born Yarm, Enlisted Yarm.
Buried KEMMEL CHATEAU MILITARY CEMETERY.
