There is a remarkable memorial in Holy Trinity Church (Micklegate), York, which commemorates the four Walker brothers and their parents. Three of the Walker brothers lost their lives in the First World War, including Major Wilfrid Beckett Walker of the Yorkshire Regiment. The memorial was erected by their only sister, Dorothy Katharine.

Dorothy Katharine died in Scarborough in 1977 aged 93 (born 12 July 1883).

Gordon Hatton provides the following information on Holy Trinity Church;-
"Seen here from Priory Street, Holy Trinity is a puzzling church from the outside with walls and features that don't seem to quite match. The tower and parts of the body of the church are survivals from Holy Trinity Priory."
