The churchyard of At. Aidan's, Boosbeck, contains 13 burials from the First World War and 1 from the Second World War. Of the 13 First World War burials, 8 are of men from the Yorkshire Regiment.
There is also a family headstone which commemorates a soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment.

Babb. 8784. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Died at home 19 November 1918. Born London, Enlisted Richmond (Yorks), Resided Lingdale (Boosbeck). (First entered theatre of war, 14 November 1914. 2nd Battalion in 1914?) |
