Although there are no Commonwealth War Graves in this churchyard in which soldiers of the Yorkshire Regiment are interred, there is a family memorial which includes the name of a Yorkshire Regiment Officer killed in the First World War.

Son of Thomas Coates, of Fulwood, Preston, Lancs. Killed 27 October 1916.
Aged 23.
