Cawood Cemetery, on the North side of the village, was opened in 1882, and now belongs to the Rural District Council.
There are 3 burials from the First World War, and 1 from the Second World
War, in the cemetery.
One of the burials is that of a soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment.

22 April 1920. Aged 21.
