The churchyard of St. Margaret's, Huttons Ambo, contains two Commonwealth War Graves, - one from each of the World Wars.

Amongst the burials is a soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment. He is interred beside his parents, who died after him.


Private Frank Gill, Private Frank Gill, 1800. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Son of Frank Gill, of Huttons Ambo, York. Died at home 14 March 1915. Aged 17.
Born Huttons Ambo (Malton), Enlisted Scarborough, Resided Huttons Ambo.
