Mansfield Woodhouse (St. Edmund's) Churchyard Extension contains 6 Commonwealth War Graves, - all from the First World War.

One of the graves is that of a soldier who served in the Yorkshire Regiment.
In the photo of the cemetery (above), the Yorkshire Regiment soldier's grave is at the end of the path on the left hand side in a rather neglected and overgrown area.

18th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Sarah Moore, of 9, Priory Square, Mansfield Woodhouse. Died at home 17 December 1918. Aged 22.
