Northrepps (St. Mary) Churchyard in Norfolk contains two Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 War.
Amongst these First World War burials is one soldier who served
with the Yorkshire Regiment.

Private Charles Godfrey Beane. 1706. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Beane, of Winspers Farm, Northrepps, Norwich. Died at home 14 January 1916. Aged 23. Born Hewarth (Norfolk), Enlisted Hull, Resided Norwich.
