Ossett (Holy Trinity) Churchyard, Leeds, contains 20 Commonwealth War Graves from both World Wars, - 11 from the First World War and 9 from the Second. One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is amongst these burials.

		Private Arthur Sheard. TR/5/14628. 11th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, attached to 4th Battalion T R. Son of Charles Henry and Mary Elizabeth Sheard, of Ossett. Died at home 4 August 1917.
