Captain Michael Day Wade Maude. 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Lt. Col. W. W. Maude, of The Fleets, Rylstone. Died at home 14 October 1917. Aged 27.
The dedication on the headstone reads as below;-

DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED AT
INVERNESS COPSE, BELGIUM

WHO DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED AT
