Private William Alsford, 3/8351. 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Arthur and Louisa Alsford; husband of Margaret Rebecca Welch (formerly Alsford), of 31L, Beaconsfield Buildings, York Rd., King's Cross, London, Served in Tirah Campaign (1897-98) and the South African Campaign.
