The Yorkshire Regiment War Graves

There are 9 Commonwealth War Graves from both World Wars in this cemetery, with four from the First World War.

There is one grave of a soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment in the churchyard of Holy Trinity Church, South Hetton (Co. Durham).

Private Henry Rogerson. 16632. 10th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mary Ann Rogerson, of South Hetton, and the late William Rogerson; husband of Edith Anne Patton (formerly Rogerson) of 35 James St., South Hetton. Died at home 13 July 1916. Aged 26.
Born South Hetton (Durham), Enlisted Sunderland, Resided South Hetton.
