Amongst the burials is that of a Yorkshire Regiment soldier, whose brother was killed in action just two days previously.

2nd/5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.Son of William and Elizabeth Bayley, of Park Hill, Woodford Rd., Bramhall, Stockport. Died at home 5 May 1917. Aged 38. Resided Bramhall. (Additional information from Pension & Service records;- Enlisted 11 December 1915. Discharged 21 April 1917 due to tuberculosis of the lung.
