The War Memorial in St. Andrew's Church, Enfield, is a mural
painted on the Chancel wall.
This memorial commemorates 78 names, of who 3 men of the Yorkshire Regiment
are shown.
However, a member of the congregation of St. Andrew's, John
Tanner, has researched further names from Enfield.
He has identified over 300 soldiers, sailors and airmen who died in the Great
War with addresses he Parish who do not appear on the original roll. He has
also identified over 50 additional names from the Second World War.

Regiment. Killed 23 April 1917.
Born Enfield, Enlisted Mill Hill, Resided Enfield.
