Over 9300 men who served in the Yorkshire Regiment lost their lives in the Firs tWorld War.

Of those men, 1360 had transferred to other regiments, corps, or services after originally serving in the Yorkshire Regiment.

The Northumberland Fusiliers - 69 men
The West Yorkshire Regiment - 71 men
The Yorks and Lancashire Regiment - 112 men
