The First World War Memorial for St. Timothy's Church, Crookes (Sheffield)

St. Timothy's Church, Crookes, is located in Sinn Street, Sheffield.
There are several War Memorials within the church, all located
in a side chapel.
1. A memorial to those who lost their lives in the First World war, consisting
of a board dividedinto two columns. The names are in black upper case and
uinclude the regiments served in. 171names are commemorated on this memorial.
2. A memorial to those who served and returned in the First World war. This
is a board divided into 5 columns which contains 341 names.
3. A Roll of Honour for those on Active Service in the Second World War.
4. Memorial for Sgt. Pilot Douglas Arthur of the RAF.
5. A Memorial Cross for Lieutenant Ekins of the Royal Irish Regiment.
A transcription of the names of those commemorated on the First World War Memorial is on the Imperial war Museum's Register of War Memorials website.
1 soldier who fought with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.
