The War Memorial for Spennymoor is located where Cheapsides meets the High Street in Spennymoor. The memorial is a Cenotaph and commemorates the names of 360 men who lost their lives in the First World War, 123 men and women who lost their lives in the Second World War, and 1 name for a subsequent conflict.

37 soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial.
