The Memorial is situated at the junction of Barn Street and New Road. The main centre plaque names the Fallen from the First World War and the pair of plaques either side carry the names of those who fell in the Second World War.

One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is listed amongst those who died.


Captain Freeman Archibald Haynes Atkey. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Frederick Walter and Ellen Louisa Atkey. Killed 5 July 1916. Aged 33.
Buried BECOURT MILITARY CEMETERY, BECORDEL-BECOURT.
